The recently released gameplay blog from EA found here leads us to believe that playing as a defensive lineman in Road to Glory will be a possibility. The NCAA Football Gameplay Trailer shows a series of quick cuts to various new archetypes and defensive lineman are included in the new archetypes, both DT and edge rushers.

Additionally, controlling an offensive lineman will be possible in some fashion in CFB 26 because the Gameplay blog gives details on the revamped block steering system. According to the EA blog "[Block Steering] works for both sides of the ball, whether you're a nose tackle trying to dent the A-gap or a pulling guard trying to drive a defender out of the way."
